About us

Hannah Miles, Co-Founder and MIND TEAM Children and Young People Behavioral and Mental Health Specialist Coach

Hannah is a mum of two and a professional mental health coach. Hannah graduated from Roehampton University with a degree in psychology and sociology. She began her career and found her love and passion for working with young people, by volunteering as a teaching assistant and following her degree success, worked in several secondary schools in a range of different roles.  She went on to complete further PGDIP studies teaching children with emotional social and behavioural difficulties and in 2018 was awarded a masters degree specialising in child and adolescent mental health.

Hannah has managed a range of provision across Surrey for students at risk of permanent exclusion, developing additional projects for the most vulnerable young people.  And knowing what a difference preventative work can make to children and young people’s mental health and well-being, she returned to secondary school life where she established and continually develops, internal services to support such students.

For the past 10 years Hannah has worked with students with complex mental health and behavioural difficulties to improve their potential for learning, for greater self-esteem and happiness both in school and at home.

Commissioned to design interventions and tailored consultancy services to schools nationwide in need of additional student support, Hannah brings a unique skillset valued by professionals, students themselves and their families.

Hannah believes that relationships and positive connections are central to making a difference in a child and young person’s life and that a child-centred approach is crucial to generating affirmative and long-lasting change.

Hannah enjoys getting outdoors with her family, connecting back to nature and letting go of the stresses of daily life.
